He was predeceased by: his son James Bynum Thompson; his parents, Harold Thompson and Mina Thompson; and his stepmother Rosie Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Thompson; and his daughters, Sali (Hayden) and Ashton (Martin). He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren.

Donations in his memory may be sent to AZ Game and Fish or the Irish Cultural Center in Phoenix.
