He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Hughes and Esther Hughes (Heiser); and his sisters, Marilyn Beeler and Arlene Aab. He is survived by: his wife Anita Hughes; his sons, Greg Hughes (Jen), Jason Hughes (Jessica), Rick Bright (Tanya) and David Bright; his grandchildren, Evan, Alex, Jaxon, Skylar and Brantley; his sisters, Eugenia Shipowick (Lewis) and Cathy Romstadt (Carl); and his siblings-in-law, Jan Trousdale (Larry) and Larry Musgrove.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gil's memory may be made to Love A Child Ministries in Haiti.
