He is survived by: his wife Cathi; his daughter Angela Petrocelli; his son-in-law Eric Leopper of Arizona; his son Joe Petrocelli; his daughter-in-law Megan; his grandchildren, Madison, Brighton and Avery of Virginia; his sister Laraine; his brother-in-law Lindsey Simpson; and his mother-in-law Mary Jane Reitsma Jakubowski.
In lieu of flowers, George wished that donations be sent in his memory to Savior Hospice and Palliative Care at 4530 East Shea Blvd, Phoenix AZ 85028.
