She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Santistevan and Benerita Santistevan; and her brothers, Manuel, Joe and Tony Santistevan.

She is survived by: her husband Jose Fernandez (Joe); and her children, Elaine Morse (Brad), Linda Schemmel (Larry) and Jim Fernandez (Teresa). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
