He was predeceased by: his father Dewey Harry Burkett; and his siblings, Ralph S. Burkett, Gerald B. Burkett and Claire Hall (Burkett). He is survived by: his siblings, Dewey H. Burkett, Jr. and Ellen Baron (Burkett); his children, Edward C. Burkett, Jr. (Gloria Burkett) and Christina Williams (Christopher Williams); and his stepdaughters, Brenda Lee Berkheiser (Nathan Berkheiser) and Karen Marie Wood (Kevin Marc Wood). He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, numerous generations of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
