He was predeceased by: his parents, Raoul DeLaune and Kathleen DeLaune. He is survived by: his girlfriend Cathy Pirch; his close friend Cathy Pirch; his daughter Jaclyn DeLaune (James Stewart); and his brother Raoul DeLaune.

He participated in the annual "Toys for Tots" charity motorcycle ride, delivering Christmas presents to children in San Diego and Mexico.
