He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hopeful and Esther Louise Rodier (Bennett); his siblings, Harry, Charlie and Jean Marie; his daughter-in-law Susan Elaine; and his grandson Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife VaLeta Elaine Smith; his children, Jon-Marc Rodier (Susan Elizabeth), Michelle Rodier and Pamela Silliman (Robert); his brother Georges Rodier (Josianne); and his great grandchildren, Teagen, Aidan, Alexandre, Cassidy, Saige and Kyrie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews he treated as his own children.
