She was predeceased by: her husband John; and her siblings, Harold Vander Veen (Hilde), Arthur Vander Veen (Bettye) and Amy Vander Veen. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Schueller (Robert), Linda Kalas (Riley Whitman), Deborah Schwartz and John Van Prooyen; and her grandchildren, Michael Kalas, David Kalas (Amy), Kevin Schwartz (Ashley) and Tiffany Schwartz (Ivan).

In lieu of flowers, the children encourage family and friends to make donations to their favorite Christian charity.
