He was predeceased by: his parents, John Aubry Mullins and Susie Howard Mullins; and his siblings, Gerald, Hugh, Jean, Carolyn, Marian, Suzanne, Bobby and Dewey.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Mae Hebert Mullins; his children, John E. Mullins, Jr., Lonna M. Butler and Donna M. Ferrell; his sisters, Kay M. Langford and Mildred M. Stokes; and his stepchildren, Howard Michael LaBauve, Marcia L. Thomasson, Joni L. Landauer, Julie L. Lipps and Jackie L. Murphy. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 17 great grands and 12 step grandchildren.
