She was predeceased by: her parents, Dock Parris and Martha "Fern" Parris (Gilder); her husband Vernon Frantz; her daughter Rachel Akins; and also, Glen and Margie Parris.
She is survived by: her children, David (Carissa Frantz) of Grove Springs, MO, Matthew (Diane Frantz) of Louisburg, MO, Valerie (Eugene George) of Strafford, MO and Martha (Mike Lewis) of Long Lane, MO; her son-in-law Jeff Akins of Buffalo, MO; her siblings, Melvin (Diane Parris) of Casa Grande, AR and Brenneva Parris of Tempe, AR; and her grandchildren, Jennifer (Daniel Herron), Becky (Michael Nichols), Jessica George, Nathan George, Trina (Jessica Freeman), Jacob (Jon Barnett), Steven (Ashley Frantz), Adam Frantz, Andy (Amanda Lewis), Brandon (Darcy Lewis), Casi (Josh Burchell), Jeff Akins, Jr. (Ashley) and Brittney Akins (Brady Miller). She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Good Shephard Hospice.
