He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Coy Massey and Dola Jennie Leslie Massey; and his brothers, Leslie Coy, Leonard Jack and Harold Robert.

He is survived by: his spouse Sharon; his sons, Matt (Georgia), Guy (Lisa), Will (Lois) and Cody (Lorie); his grandchildren, Shonna (Mike), Zac (Sara), Renee, Ronnie (Julie), Shelby, Courtney, Monica, Veronica, Ashley, Kelsey, Jake and Schae; and his great grandchildren, Peyton, Madden, Xavier, Hunter, Grace and Kodie.
