It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Lee Holmes of Camp Verde, Arizona, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on August 2, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Donald and Fern Marie Holmes (Gaugler); and his brother Robert Holmes. He is survived by: his children, D. Monie Holmes (Gennie) of Wooster, Linda Hershey (Joseph) of Creston, Shannon Sanek (Dan) of Parma Heights and Stephen (Mo); his grandchildren, Ryan Hershey (Julie), Lorrain Hershberger (Nick), Aaron Holmes (Melodie) and Alex Holmes; and his sister Ladonna Reed of Wooster. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
