She was predeceased by: her mother Amelia Burr; her husband McArthur Duane Sr.; her father Frank Sr. Burr; and her siblings, Solomon Starr Sr., Sylvia McIntosh, James Starr and Ernest Starr.

She is survived by: her children, Diane Duane, McArthur Duane Jr., Mondale Duane and James Duane; her daughter-in-law Cleo Duane; and her grandchildren, Tamara Rochelle Duane, Dinitra Denise Duane, Cloe Duane, Feather Duane, Montrell Duane, Cadence Duane and Uriah Duane.
