He was predeceased by: his parents, James Breen and Mary Breen (Cote); his son James Breen; his sisters, Christine Breen, Delores Sherbert and Phyllis Winter; and his brother-in-law Willie Winter.

He is survived by: his children, Angela Gross (Michael) and Matthew Breen (Lisa); his grandchildren, Malya, Jeff, Alisun, Brandon, Shaun, Macey and Madelyn; and his siblings, Margaret Breen, Jim Breen (Shiela), Pat Hoover (John) and Jane Rea (Mike).
