He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Altendorf and Frances Altendorf (Pokrzywinski); his siblings, Effie Altendorf Wesolowski, Irene Lizakowski, Helen Kasprick and Sylvester Altendorf; and his daughter Dianna Roth.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Altendorf (Brown); his children, Larry (Andrea), Debra Griffith, Judy Filip (Greg) and Jacqueline Hughes (Rodney); and his grandchildren, Jimmy, Patrick, Dee Ann, Cindy, Keith, Ciara, Christopher, Holly, Christine, Nicole, Lisa, Tina, Shelby, Francine and Ronald. He is also survived by 33 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
