It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Ann Vega of Buckeye, Arizona, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on May 24, 2024, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Wood and Veronica "Vera" Wood; her brother Gary Wood; her son Matthew Joseph Vega; her grandchildren, Ivy and Cole Bauman of Peoria, AZ.; and also, Claire, Billy, Richie, Tommy, Timmy, Joanie, Laura, Kathleen and Sally.

The family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love and support during this extremely difficult time and asks that in lieu of flowers that you use those resources to make a generous contribution to the Phoenix Children's Hospital (phoenixchildrens.org) in Sally's name. In Lieu of Flowers please make a donation to The Phoenix Children's Hospital.
