He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Cain and Agatha Lucile Cain (Hall); his wife Helen Jean Cain; his son Dale W. Can Jr.; and his siblings, Rita Bell Wass and John Edgar Cain.

He is survived by: his daughter Betty Albert (Jerry Jr.); his grandchildren, Jerry Albert III (Carrie), Jessica Yee (Weegan) and Melissa Triglia (Sean); his great grandchildren, Morgan, Zachary and Isaac Albert; and his sister Barbara Watkins (Cain). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
