She was predeceased by: her brother Dennis Simon. She is survived by: her husband Ron Byrd; her daughters, Angie Marinucci (Eric) and Brittany Gehrts (Nick); her grandchildren, Gunnar, Giana and Nico; and her sister Darla Francisco (Rick).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Brenda's memory be made to the Gray Matters Foundation, an organization that provided invaluable support to them during her illness.
