It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Tenorio of Benson, Arizona, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Gloria Kirkwood; and her siblings, Julia Dimas, Gilbert Mendoza, Stella Olivas, Frank Mendoza, Abel Mendoza, Ofelia Rivera, Elvira Mendoza and Alex Mendoza.

She is survived by: her husband Petronilo "Chapo" Tenorio; her grandchildren, Kimberly Guilliams of Benson Ariz, Darci Nelson (Cory) of Benson, Stacee Tovar (Oscar) of Tucson, Ariz. and Ian Kirkwood (Shannon) of Saint David, Ariz.; her great grandchildren, Ashton Perez (Glen), Connor Hancox, Tyler Guilliams, Devlin Comaduran, Adam McBride, Lauren McBride, Gloria Guilliams, Sydney Guilliams, Greyson Kirkwood and Valentina Tovar; her great great grandchild Aurora Perez; and her siblings, Olivia Mendoza, Jenny Rigney and Carlos Mendoza. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
