With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sofia Herrera Garza (Avondale, Arizona), born in Yoakum, Texas, who passed away on January 8, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Margarito Herrera and Andrea Herrera; and her husband Benito Garza. She is survived by: her children, Vickie Vizzerra (Carlos), Juanita Cruz (Santiago), Norma Castillo (Charlie), Nilda Villa (Fernando) and Ray Garza (Delia). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
