He was predeceased by: his parents, Holloway Orton Eakins and Margaret Eakins (Johnson); his former wife Sharon Darleen Eakins of Phoenix, Arizona.; and his siblings, Violet Mae, Paul Holloway (David), Beverly Ann, Donald Marvin, Dolores Margarette, Maurice Sidney and David Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Dina Marie Eakins; and his grandchildren, Kristin, Anna Joy, James, Rebecca, Stefanie, Alexandria, Arturo and Abigail. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
