She was predeceased by: her brothers-in-law, Charles Alderman (Ted) and William Podshadley (Bill). She is survived by: her husband James A. Scherf; her daughters, Mary "Molly" Scherf and Kathleen Mayers (William); her grandsons, Brian and Michael Mayers; and her siblings, Richard Kassube (Debbie), Karen Alderman and Dee Ann Podshadley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
