He was predeceased by: his mother Maria Luz Pacheco; his wife Maria Jesus "Chuy" Valenzuela; his siblings, Maria (Socorro Valenzuela Lombrozo), Jose "Pepe", Antonio, Alejandro and Jorge Barrera; his siblings-in-law, Esperanza "Hope" Beltran (Robert), Guadalupe Encinas and Francisco "Frank" Encinas (Carmen); his nephew Antonio Arturo Encinas; and his niece Carol Lawrence.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica and Mary Lou Valenzuela; his nephew Bob Beltran Jr. (Barbara); and his niece Rose Nield (Ken). He is also survived by 25 great nieces and nephews.
