She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hughes (Blackie) and Martha Reeves; her daughters, Marybeth Gibson and Martha Otten-Truitt (Marty); and her significant other John Fred Otten.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Cory (Joe) and Davida Madden (Tom); and her siblings, Roger Hughes, Rosalee O'Conner (Sue) and Nancy Reeves. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren 11 great grandchildren 1 great great grandchild.
