She was predeceased by: her parents, Fidel Salazar (Isaura Armenta) and Dolores; her husband Ernesto G. Badia; her daughters, Sherry Jacquelyn Perez and Ida Marie Perez; her siblings, Fidel Armenta Salazar Jr., Gustavo Armenta Salazar, Edmund Salazar, Raoul "Rudy" Salazar, Hermina, Carino and Mary Lou Salazar; and her granddaughters, Cherie Perez and Nikki Vasquez.
She is survived by: her children, Rachel Bernadette Perez of Eloy, Theodore Perez of California and Edward Perez of Eloy; and her sisters, Mary Leos of Picacho, Virginia Duarte, Dora Gaytan of Texas, Armida Flores and Rosalie Ramirez of Eloy. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Helen of the Cross Church - Eloy (205 W 8th St, Eloy, AZ 85131). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
