He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Barz and Edna Barz (Fosgitt); and his siblings, William (Bill), Richard (Dick), Rosie (Sprague) and Mary (Baumann).

He is survived by: his wife Beverly (Kadlabitsky); his children, Wayne Jr., Jane Cronin, Joe (Cindy), Julie Acedo (Tim) and Jack (Brenda); and his sisters, Rita Moline and Dani MacDonald (Mildred). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his parish, St. George Roman Catholic Parish, 300 E 16th Ave, Apache Junction, AZ 85119.
