It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Sterling of Apache Junction, Arizona, born in Palo Alto, California, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gail and Dorothy; his children, Margo Gernaat and John van Krieken; and his great grandchild Michael Bowie.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia; and his children, Lezlie Anderson, Jessica Schubach and Michael van Krieken. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
