He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr. and Evelyn; his wife Barbra; and his sister Betty. He is survived by: his son Robert (Margaret); his grandchildren, Tyler and Aubrey; and his sisters, Shirley and Roberta. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

In lieu of cards or flowers it is asked that donations to the VFW be made in his name.
