It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Ann Verholtz of Apache Junction, Arizona, who passed away on November 4, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Grode and Mathilda Grode (Krause); her siblings, Frank, Bert Grode and Leone Snowden (Grode); her son Joseph William Verholtz III; and her grandson William Henry Sandlin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Jo Marshall, Michelle Richards, Carron Liberda (Ted), Patrice Verholtz, Lisa Katona and Linda Erickson (Jon). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren.
