He was predeceased by: his father Thomas A. Elchert Sr.; his brother Thomas A. Elchert Jr.; and his grandparents, Elmer, Leona Elchert, Russel and Mildred Nye.
He is survived by: his mother Arleen M. Elchert (Nye); his wife Deborah Elchert of Apache Junction; his siblings, Teresa Moore, Vicki Conner and Gregory Elchert; and his sister-in-law Suzanne Black (Jim) of Tiffin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
