With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harlo R McKinty of Apache Junction, Arizona, born in Rexburg, Idaho, who passed away on September 7, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son David McKinty; and his wife Shirley McKinty. He is survived by: his former wife Eileen Gooding; his sons, Jim, Robert and Dan McKinty (Robin) of Lincoln, NE; and his granddaughters, Valerie Andersen (Casey) and Dawn Koenig (Pat). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.

In liau of flowers we request a donation be made in Harlo's name to Hospice At Home of AZ who rendered such special care in the end of Harlo's life.

“To the McKinty family, I just this evening, became aware of the death of my former dental professor, Dr. McKinty. I graduated in 1979 from the University of Nebraska-College of Dentistry. Dr. McKinty was a favorite of mine as he treated we students with respect and was fun, enthusiastic and a fountain of real life knowledge. We discussed his airplane build which inspired me to do so as well. I found his phone # a few years ago, called and we had a great visit. He was a great mentor.”
