He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen; his foster parents, Grace Martin and Charlie Martin; his brothers, Gary Proctor and Tom Proctor; and his foster brother Bob.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Proctor (Chris Ashley) of Mesa, AZ and Kerry Smith (Andy) of Mesa, AZ; his grandchildren, Bailey Doles (Chris), Emily Ocheltree (Kyle) and Jordan Smith; his great grandchildren, Iviegh, Raiden and Tatum; his foster siblings, Alan (Linda), Carol, Duane and Sharon; and his in-laws, Timothy Weber, James Weber Jr. and Mary Dorau (Rick). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
