He was predeceased by: his parents, George Fredrick Franklin, Sr and Helen Rose Franklin; his brother James Franklin of New Jersey; and his granddaughter Amber Smith. He is survived by: his wife Judith Franklin; his daughters, Barbara Fuller (Wayne) and Carrol Franklin; his granddaughters, Caitlyn and Ashley; his son David Franklin (Katie); his grandsons, Liam and Brayden; his daughter Sandra Franklin; his granddaughters, Britney and Courtney; and his siblings, Al Franklin of Florida and Helen Aquilina (Paul) of Pennsylvania.
