He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nelson and Maye Nelson of Midwest, WY.; his siblings, Byron Nelson and Rita Grigsby; and his former wife Roberta Nelson (Berkie).
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Nelson; his daughters, Patty Nieters, Chris Garthe and Teresa Nelson; and his stepchildren, Mary Jacob, Gary Redding and Doug Redding.
