George Arthur Daas, 81 of Apache Junction, AZ, Formerly of Cave Creek, AZ and Capac, MI died on April 18, 2021 in Apache Junction, AZ. George was born to Parents, Arthur and Molly (Henry) Daas on November 20, 1939 in Detroit, MI. He lived in Capac, MI before moving to Cave Creek, AZ in 1988, and moving in 2020 to Apache Junction, AZ.
He married Brenda L Boner on Aug 5, 1967 in Capac, MI. He was life member of Forest Lodge #126. He is a member of Christ the Lord Lutheran Church, Carefree, AZ. He belonged to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Capac, MI, before moving to AZ. An associate member of the American Legion in Capac, MI.
He is survived by his wife Brenda, son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Kimmie Daas, two granddaughters Ashley and Michaela Daas. A sister Pamela Kaufman, niece Niki Ferguson and nephew Jack Henry, niece Kelly Schmidt. He was preceded in death by a brother Jack Henry, Sr and sister Margaret Smith.
Memorial service to be held at Christ the Lord Lutheran Church, Carefree, AZ May 1 2021. Cremated remains will be interred at the Columbarium at Christ the Lord Lutheran Church. Memorials may be given to Christ the Lord Lutheran Church and Hospice of the Valley. No flowers please.
