She was predeceased by: her parents, Heman Seely Crossman and Beatrice Florence Knosalla; and her spouse Gene Albert Ferwerda. She is survived by: her children, Jo Ann Hallstrom (Dave), Gail Thoreson, Valerie Baird (Gus), Shariya Padilla (Robert), Jerel Ferwerda (Christina), Lance Ferwerda (Sara), Monte Ferwerda (Rebecca), Val Ferwerda, Suzanne Coulliette (Jimmy) and Cindy Fahring (Dane). She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
