He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Art Springer, Evie Kossow and Maddie Schaefer; his uncle Wesley Smith; his grandfather Richard Springer; his father Charlie Springer; his stepmother Lena Kessler; his stepsisters, Norma Little and Hazel Pendell; his half-sister Nila Robbins; his children, Gerrie Peterson (Dick), Penny Savage (Frank) and Rick Springer; and his great grandchild Nora Jane Gaborit. He was also cherished by his children, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
