It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sean Maplethorpe of Anthem, Arizona, who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Sean shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sean farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his parents, Kristi Maplethorpe and Joe Maplethorpe; his wife Samantha; and his children, Katey, Maggie and Jack.
A reception will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Anthem Civic Building (3701 W Anthem Way, Anthem, AZ 85086).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sean's name to the Save The Music Foundation to continue his legacy of bringing music to others.
