She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Spiga and Christina Mucci; her husband Dennis Grooms; her siblings, Mary Conklin, Tony and Joe Spiga; and her brother-in-law Orville McMahan.

She is survived by: her siblings, Josie McMahan and Frank Spiga; her children, Susan Haagen (John), Kathryn Matthews and William Grooms (Christina); and her grandchildren, Amanda Chase, Paige, Jordan, Austin Haagen, Dominic, Anthony and Isabella Grooms. She is also survived by her family and friends.
