We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2024, at the age of 86, Virginia Nielsen of Ajo, Arizona, born in Sacramento, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Virginia is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Van and Nellie Van of Wetering; her husband Jean Nielsen; and her great grandchildren, Bowen Storey and Kody Nielsen.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Sheffield (Joel) and Kent Nielsen (Lana); and her brother Jan Van of Wetering.
