She is survived by: her children, Sharon Gooden (Donald Gooden) of Monroe, LA, Jane Martin (Jerry Martin) of Winnsboro, LA, Nancy Price (Larry Price) of Yellville, AR, Leslie Peoples, Jr. (Karen Peoples) of Yellville, AR, Kyle Peoples (Beverly Peoples) of Columbia, MS and Dana Parker (Jimmy Parker) of Bonner Springs, KS; and her siblings, James Hawthorne (Frances) of Bastrop, A. J. Hawthorne (Dena) of Bastrop, Jessie Vee Townsend of Winnsboro, Doris Sebold of Winnsboro, Joyce Heath (Jack) of Winnsboro, Martha Yeats (Kenneth) of Baton Rouge and Helen Davis of Winnsboro. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, twenty nine great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Winnsboro United Pentecostal Church (2510 Loop Rd, Winnsboro, LA 71295). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
