We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2023, at the age of 65, Julie Ellen Johnson of Yellville, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey L. Peters and Eleanor F. Peters (Ascher); her children, Christopher Wayne and Sarah Marie; her sister Nancy Meinders; her parents-in-law, Wayne and Barbara Johnson; her brothers-in-law, Steve and Dennis Johnson; and her nephew D. J. Johnson.

She is survived by: her husband Wes of Yellville; her sister Peg Doeden (Jim) of Ankeny, Iowa; her brother-in-law Robert Meinders of Cedar Falls; her nephews, Eric Meinders (Jennifer) of Cedar Falls, Ryan Amble (Jennifer) of Clear Lake and Daniel Amble (Jamie) of Pleasant Hill, Iowa; and her niece Danielle Sheldon (Danny) of Hazelton, Iowa..

Memorials may be directed to University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital or St. Jude's Research Hospital.
