He is survived by: his children, Loyce Bell Jones of Washington, Walter Pierce, Jr. of Wynne, Ronald of Michigan and Larry Pierce of Michigan; and his siblings, W. J. "Dub" Pierce (Pauline) of Wynne and Betty Vanlue of Michigan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
