It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Banton Sr. of Wynne, Arkansas, who passed away on December 28, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Banton and Girtie Banton (Worley); and his siblings, J. B., Millard, Butchâ, Omajean Moore, Maude Feltner, Elizabeth Peeler, Margaret Phillips and Bobbie Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Banton; his children, Richard Banton, Jr. of Wynne and Laura Banton-Osier of Wynne; his sister Agnes Pavone of Virginia; his grandchildren, Paige Banton, Brook Banton, Tanner Banton, Ashley Swearengin and William Swearengin; and his great grandchild Landon Bottoms. He is also survived by two great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives; and a lifetime of great friends.
