He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Harbison and Grace Harbison (Tedder); his son James Harbison, Jr.; and his brothers, Bo and Bobbie Joe Harbison.
He is survived by: his children, Jenny McGrew (Randy), Michael Reynolds (Miranda), Belinda Rhodes (Waymon) and Dianne Poyner (Joedd); his siblings, Bill Harbison, Rocky Harbison (Dawn), Ricky Harbison (Spring), Peggy McBride (Bob), Ginger Harbison and Glenda McNabb (James); and his grandchildren, Blake Moran (Terrenda), Megan Shepherd (Adam), Amber Watkins (Shane), Alyson Killough (McNiel), Maria Reynolds, Cameron Reynolds, Ava Reynolds, Brittany Stephenson (Coy), Dusty Rhodes (Amanda), Heather Harding (Carl) and Ashley Davis. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
