She was predeceased by: her parents, Artie English and Iletha Beaugard; her husband William Powell; her siblings, Carolyn English Benton, Gladys English Turner and Oliver English; and her son Terrence Powell.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Powell (Rena) and Kimberly Thomas of Jonesboro, AR.; her daughter-in-law Shay "Morsie" Powell (Terrence) of Forrest City, AR; her siblings, Barbara Sue English of Belleville, IL, Michael English of Cincinatti, OH and Robert English of Crawfordsville, AR.; her grandchildren, Johnathan Jones (Clarissa) of Jonesboro, AR, Jeremy Jones of Jonesboro, AR, John Jones Jr. (Decoyia) of Jonesboro, AR and Cherri Jones of Jonesboro, AR; and her friends, Sarah Webb and Francis McGill. She is also survived by grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woodard Funeral Service (350 F St, Wynne, AR 72396). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St Mary Cme Church (810 W Poplar Ave, Wynne, AR 72396).
