He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Watson and Lydia Trunk Watson; and his brothers, Milford and Paul Watson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Watson; his children, Donna Watson of Marion, Deborah Thomson of Slayden, Patricia Fike of Indianola, Michael Watson of Brandon and Jeffery Watson of Collierville; and his sister Dorothy Donna. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Per State of Arkansas COVID-19 directive, face coverings are required for any indoor gatherings, please always maintain social distancing.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church.
