He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Nemetz Wegert and Henry Wegert; and his brother Vernon Wegert. He is survived by: his wife Kay Wegert; his stepchildren, Mary Kay Mullins (Cody) of Wynne, Heather Ransom of Wynne and Leslee Barnett of Wynne; his stepgrandchildren, Chloe Mullins of Wynne, Taylor Barnett of Wynne and Coy Barnett of Wynne; his stepgreat-grandchild Izzy Barnett; his nephews, Eric Wegert of Kokomo and Daniel Wegert of Louisville; and his niece Kathy Cochran of Noblesville, Indiana..
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Wynne.
