He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry George and Alma Mary Hess (Schilly); and his siblings, Lawrence, Thomas Earl, Donald, Frankie, Teddy, Harry Hess and Helen Hess.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Hess; his children, Amy Ball (Bo) of Wynne and Denny Hess (Jamie) of Wynne; his siblings, James Hess, Theresa Gunderman, Rose Mary Gill, Linda Banton and Peg Hess; his grandchildren, Dr. Kami Ball-Tran (Ronald), Clay Ball (Sara), Tyler Ball, Nichole Hess and Garrett Ball (Katy); and his great grandchildren, Steven Hernandez, Grayson Hess, Allie Ball and Ella Hess. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
