He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Thompson (Hendrix); and his mother Mary Lou Purvis (Ellzey). He is survived by: his daughters, Bailee Forrester (Jesse) of Cordova, Tennessee and Brianna Thompson (Reggie Casper) of Wynne; his stepfather Dayton Purvis of Laurel, Mississippi; his brother Dan Purvis of Alexandria, Louisiana; and his granddaughter Bria Casper of Wynne. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
